2011 Dubai World Cup
The 2011 edition of the Dubai World Cup (G1) program proved historic on many fronts, from Japan's emotional first victory and 1-2 finish in the $10-million World Cup with Victoire Pisa and Transcend, to Kwalah's triumph as the first filly to win the $2-million UAE Derby (G2). Horses based in Singapore (Rocket Man), South Africa (J J the Jet Plane) and Europe (Rewilding, Presvis and Skysurfers) also prevailed during the globe's most international program of elite racing.
